Common Electrical Faults
Often when we are at home we experience damage to our electrical installation or electrical appliances. Detecting and repairing them by an electrician is almost always necessary to have a sure and correct result. But what are the most common injuries?
Water heater
We check if the light on the panel of the house is on. If it does not light up then the safety of the water heater may have deteriorated. If it is on and we do not have hot water, it is possible that either the thermostat of the water heater is damaged, or the resistance of the water heater is burnt, which heats the water.
Glowing fuse
If we notice that the house has no electricity, we first check if there is a power outage. Then we check in detail the panel of the house and observe if there are downloaded individual fuses. If all the fuses are up and we do not have electricity, it is most likely that the fuse has burned out either on the panel or on the PPC clock.
Damaged security
If the lights in the room do not come on and the electrical appliances do not work, it is likely that some fuse has fallen on the panel. If this is not the case then maybe your security is down and you need a replacement.
Power line short circuit
In mainly old installations, where the power lines are few and far between, the power lines are often short-circuited. The most common cause is overloading of power lines and in this case requires repair - replacement of the damaged part. Avoid electrification of radiators in simple lines (not reinforced) in old installations. A reinforced line is, for example, the washing machine line.
Damaged socket
The most common faults are a socket that has gone out or a socket that has burned out, and even a socket that has loose contacts and can damage the installation. Replace defective material immediately.
Electrical panel failure
If you notice a strong smell of burning coming through the electrical panel then we must turn off the lights and turn off all electrical appliances. We call an electrician immediately. A cable has overheated or a fuse has blown. The problem can be dangerous even if the smell goes away, so contact your electrician immediately .
Security is constantly falling
The purpose for which the safety falls on an electrical panel is not to break our nerves by preventing us from doing our job but to protect the electrical circuit of our home. The safety will therefore drop when an overheating occurs at some point in the electrical circuit.
So if what you are doing is lifting the fuse and it continues to fall then what you need to do is find out if any of the electrical appliances that are connected to the cable network have a problem and as soon as you find it remove it immediately.
The lights are blinking
It only makes sense for the lights to flash and flicker if you are at a disco and have been set up to serve a purpose. So if this is not the case for you then 2 things can happen.
Either there is a PPC fault in your area and you need to call to repair it or the electrical circuit of your house has a fault and you need to call a specialized electrician to deal with it.
The luminaire overheats
When the luminaire does not have some insulation then its temperature can rise causing the risk of possible fire. In this case replace the old bulbs with new electrical lamps CFL and LED.
When you put a cable in the socket, sparks are thrown
Do not wait for a fire to break out because sparks that are thrown from the socket when you try to insert a cable inside do not make sense. The best thing you can do to ensure the safety of yourself and your family is to call an electrician.
